High Stanger is a 17th century, traditional working sheep farm in
surroundings of outstanding natural beauty. Midway between Lorton and the "gem
town" of Cockermouth it is conveniently situated for Northern and Western Lakes and
Fells and also the Solway Coast.

|
We run a flock of 900 sheep and a herd of 40 suckler cows on 400 acres,
in the beautiful Lorton Valley, set in the Lake District National Park.
